Director Deepak Bidkar presents a play 'Savitri, Damini ki Kamini?' in Pune

Recently, Swayamsiddha Kolhapur’s artists presented a play called Savitri, Damini ki Kamini? in Pune.
Written and directed by Deepak Bidkar, the play and the acting skills of members of this women’s organisation came in for much praise.
Kanchantai Parulekar of Swayamsiddha said, “Today’s young men are neglecting the sense of respect for a woman in every role she plays.After the shameful Delhi gang rape, girls should face society without fear instead of living with restrictions. This was the novel intention behind this act.”
